Pre treatment of organic fertilizer raw materials: from waste to production materials
Release time:2025-10-14 Views:42 Sources:Taian Hongxin Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd

The starting point of organic fertilizer production is the pretreatment of raw materials. Organic waste such as livestock and poultry manure, crop straw, and food processing residues need to go through steps such as crushing, impurity removal, and moisture adjustment before entering subsequent processes. For example, straw needs to be crushed to a length of 5-10 centimeters by a grinder, while feces need to be screened to remove impurities such as plastic and stones. The core of this process is to ensure the uniformity of raw materials and create ideal conditions for fermentation.

The selection of pre-processing equipment directly affects production efficiency. Large production lines are often equipped with dual axis crushers and drum screening machines. The former can handle high humidity materials, while the latter achieves multi-stage sorting through different aperture screens. A case study of a certain breeding farm shows that the fermentation cycle of pre treated raw materials has been shortened by 30%, and the nutrient content of fertilizers has been increased by 15%.
