The drying process is an important step in the production of fertilizers, and it is crucial to pay attention to the drying method. Now let the Shanxi organic-inorganic complete equipment production line manufacturer introduce in detail three drying methods for us, hoping to help us:

(1) Mechanical dehydration method: Mechanical dehydration method is the process of squeezing out a portion of the moisture by applying pressure to the material. Common methods include pressing, settling, filtering, centrifugal separation, etc. The mechanical dehydration method can only remove some of the free water in the material, and the combined water still remains in the material. Therefore, after mechanical dehydration, the material still has a high water content, usually 40% to 60%. But mechanical dehydration is a more economical method.

(2) Heating and drying method: also known as drying, it uses thermal energy to heat the material and vaporize the moisture in the material. Removing moisture from materials requires a certain amount of thermal energy. Usually, air is used to dry materials. The air is preheated and sent to a dryer to transfer heat to the material, gasifying the moisture in the material to form water vapor, which is carried out of the dryer with the air. After heating and drying, the material can remove bound moisture and achieve the required moisture content for the product or material.

(3) Chemical dehumidification method: It uses moisture absorbing agents to remove a small amount of moisture from gases, liquids, and solid materials. Due to the limited dehumidification ability of moisture absorbing agents, they are only used to remove trace amounts of moisture from materials. Therefore, it is rarely used in production.
