The dosage forms (granules, powders, slow-release types) and nutrient distribution ratios of compound fertilizers enable them to adapt to the needs of different planting scenarios:

Field crops (wheat, corn, rice): Universal compound fertilizers (such as 15-15-15) are often used as base fertilizers, combined with soil application during sowing, to lay a nutrient foundation for the entire growth cycle of crops; In the later stage, high nitrogen or high potassium compound fertilizer should be applied according to the growth to increase yield (such as applying high potassium fertilizer during the corn filling stage to increase grain plumpness).

Economic crops (vegetables, fruit trees, flowers):

Soil improvement and restoration: For nutrient deficient soils (such as phosphorus deficiency in northern soils and potassium deficiency in southern red soils), corresponding nutrient rich compound fertilizers can be applied to supplement them; Adding organic matter or biological bacteria to some compound fertilizers can improve soil compaction and enhance soil water and fertilizer retention capacity (such as used in greenhouse continuous cropping plots to reduce soil borne diseases).
