Stages essential for processing high-quality organic fertilizer in organic fertilizer equipment

To obtain high-quality organic fertilizer, organic waste must undergo four stages of processing through organic fertilizer equipment. Fermentation is required first, followed by cooling, to allow microorganisms to decompose the material into humus, resulting in premium organic fertilizer.       1. Fever stage.

      In the early stages of composting, the microorganisms in the compost are primarily mesophilic and aerobic species. They initiate the fermentation process, vigorously decomposing easily degradable organic matter under aerobic conditions, generating substantial heat that continuously raises the compost temperature from around 20°C to 40°C, reaching the mesophilic phase.

      2. High-temperature stage.

      During the high-temperature phase, thermophilic actinomycetes and thermophilic fungi become the dominant species. They vigorously decompose the complex organic matter in the compost, leading to heat accumulation and a rise in compost temperature to 60-70°C, or even up to 80°C. Consequently, most thermophilic microorganisms die off or enter a dormant state.

      3. Cooling phase.

      After the high-temperature phase persists for a certain period, most of the cellulose, hemicellulose, and pectin substances have been decomposed, leaving only the difficult-to-breakdown complex components and newly formed humus. Microbial activity weakens, and the temperature gradually decreases. When the temperature drops below 40°C, mesophilic microorganisms become the dominant species again.

      4. Fertilizer retention phase.

      After the composting process is completed, the volume shrinks, and the pile temperature drops slightly above the ambient temperature. At this stage, the compost should be compacted to create anaerobic conditions, which reduces the mineralization of organic matter and helps in nutrient retention.
