Introduction to the Role of Tipping Machines in Organic Fertilizer Production

   1. The stirring function in raw material conditioning. In fertilizer production, to adjust the carbon-to-nitrogen ratio, pH, moisture content, and other parameters of the raw materials, certain additives are required. The primary raw materials and various additives, which are roughly piled together in proportion, can be uniformly mixed through the stirring operation performed by a turning machine, achieving the goal of conditioning.

   2. Regulate the temperature of the raw material pile. During the operation of the turner, the raw material pellets are fully exposed to and mixed with air, allowing the pile to absorb a substantial amount of fresh air. This facilitates the active production of fermentation heat by aerobic microorganisms, raising the pile temperature. When the temperature becomes too high, the replenishment of fresh air helps reduce the pile temperature, creating an alternating state of mesophilic-thermophilic-mesophilic-thermophilic conditions. Beneficial microbial strains grow and multiply rapidly within their optimal temperature ranges.

   3. Improve the permeability of raw material piles. The turning system can process the material into small lumps, making the dense and compact raw material piles fluffy and elastic, thereby creating an appropriate porosity.

   4. Adjust the moisture content of the raw material pile. The optimal moisture level for raw material fermentation is around 55%, while the finished organic fertilizer should have a moisture content below 20%. During fermentation, biochemical reactions generate new moisture, and microbial consumption of the raw materials can cause water to lose its carrier and become free. Therefore, timely moisture reduction during the fertilizer production process is achieved not only through evaporation caused by heat conduction but also through forced water vapor dispersion via the turning machines movement of the raw materials.

   5. Meet the special requirements of composting processes, such as material crushing, shaping the compost pile, or achieving quantitative material transfer.

As one of the key pieces of equipment in fermentation and organic fertilizer production, the turning machine has consistently led the organic fertilizer industry, making significant contributions to its development.
