The Process Flow and Characteristics of Disc Granulator
Release time:2025-11-20 Views:4 Sources:Taian Hongxin Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd

Disc pelletizing is a common granulation method widely used in industries such as fertilizers, feed, and organic fertilizers.

Process Flow:  First, the raw materials undergo pretreatment, including crushing, sieving, and mixing, to ensure uniform particle size and balanced nutrient distribution.  Next, the pretreated material is fed into a disc pelletizer for granulation.  The granulated pellets are then screened to remove those that do not meet the standards.  Subsequently, the qualified pellets undergo drying and cooling to achieve moderate hardness, facilitating packaging and storage.  Finally, the dried and cooled pellets are screened and quality-checked before proceeding to the packaging stage.

Features: The disc pelletizer has a relatively simple structure, making it easy to operate and maintain, with low equipment investment. It produces uniform pellets with excellent automatic grading capability. Additionally, the disc pelletizer can precisely adjust the rotation speed and tilt angle of the disc surface based on material properties, offering broad applicability. However, its production efficiency is relatively low, typically suitable for small-scale production.
